Kinder Accreditation for Teachers and Movement Education and Lesson Plan Development:  Judy teaches these courses for USA Gymnastics nation wide. A KAT (Kinder Accreditation for Teachers) workshop is a full day of focused and productive preschool teacher education. The workshop covers teaching philosophy, understanding the preschool-age child, safety considerations unique to young children, warm-ups and games that make classes fun, class management and discipline skills, and much more! The KAT workshop offers education and certification for the preschool/movement education teacher at your school. Since USA Gymnastics launched the KAT course in 1995, it has set national standards for teaching gymnastics to young children. As club owners, program directors and coaches, it is highly recommended that you and/or your preschool program director/manager earn this certification.

The MELPD (Movement Education and Lesson Plan Development) workshop is an extension of the KAT workshop and consists of five hours of preschool teacher education. The overall emphasis of this workshop is to provide instructors with the necessary knowledge to develop preschool gymnastics lesson plans, emphasize developmentally appropriate practices, fundamental skill development, and much more!
